SIKS Symposium

Proximity in Information Retrieval

It is our pleasure to invite you to the mini symposium “Information Retrieval”, to be held on April 26 on the occasion of the PhD defense of Jeroen Vuurens. The event is part of the SIKS educational program. Especially SIKS-PhD-students are encouraged to participate.

Following the symposium, at 14:30, Jeroen Vuurens will give a short introduction (lekenpraatje) of his thesis titled “Proximity of Terms, Text and Semantic Vectors in Information Retrieval”. At 15:00, the official defense will take place.
